01 March 2023 – Mohamed Shihab, has been promoted from Director of HR at InterContinental Maldives to Cluster HR director for InterContinental Maldives and Holiday Inn Kandooma.

Both properties are part of the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) a large international hospitality chain.

Shihab has collected experiences from around the globe in an 11 year career spanning countries such as Sri Lanka, USA and the Middle East and previously held a Cluster HR director title in the Maldives with the well-known Anantara group, overlooking the HR function of three Anantara resorts in the Maldives.

At 33 years old, he is one of the youngest Maldivians appointed in a Cluster Director of Human Resources role. Congratulations to Shihab for this extraordinary achievement.
